Trippy! & Illusions! cc

cool trippy links for the drugged out scene:
trippy!!!

Engoy!

Got side tracked on this idea..but its just so cool...if we end up doing the black paper idea we could totally do this! :-D

Speech Bubble

Another idea, maybe as the character sare speaking, some important text can be projected above them, like a speech bubble.

IDEAS for Mercutio's monologue

These are some ideas for Mercutio's monologue while he is ranting about Queen Mab. We thought maybe while he speaks he could adress the audience and open up his costume and words that are important to the text could be projected onto him.
OR
He could have a phycidelic image projected onto him to confuse the audience and show the craziness of his words.

PS. We are not suggesting you make him a vampire, we just wanted to use an image where someone was wearing a cape.

'Love Will Never Tear Us Apart'

'When I Think About You, I Touch Myself'

TEXTURES

We were brainstorming different textures and how we could project meaningful text from the script as the actors speak it.

Favourite Font & Prologue Text

This is just an experiment done on photoshop to test the handwriting font we liked on a black background. We went through ALL the font files on dafont.com and found the best ones, featured on a previous post, picked this one as the best. We picked this one because it is neat enough and the line weight it thick enough to show up clearly while projecting. Also it looks like real handwriting (its messy yet still looks natural) and suits the shakespearian text.

These fonts have not been matched to these words, they are just examples of fonts that look like handwritting, which is what kirsty said to look for last week. Ps. how do you upload PDFs?
